A Wiltshire team captained by Trowbridge's own Roy Ludlow finished equal first in the Grade-limited section of this year's jamboree. Here are the results for our players:

2014 Club KO Final

The first game of the 2013-14 knock-out final was played on the 1st May 2014 and resulted in a draw, following a most unusual opening and a missed middlegame opportunity. In the second instalment (to be played Thursday 25th September) David Weston has the White pieces.

Frome Congress 2014

In the Major Tim finished a clear point ahead of those in 2nd - 5th place. Mark's peaceful draw in the last round wins him £6.25 (whereas a victory would have earned £43).

Tom finished equal 2nd - 4th which should net him £71.66

Team Trowbridge finished on 10½ points, behind Bath on 12½.
Of course, our best four from the squad of six would have scored 13½.
